Adore Him

Saya lupa kapan terakhir kali mengagumi seseorang.

Namun kali ini berbeda...

Pertama kali saya melihat sosoknya, saya tidak mempunyai pandangan apapun tentangnya. Kami juga tidak banyak mengobrol saat itu. Saya cukup menghargainya untuk hubungan profesional.

Pada pertemuan selanjutnya, kami berada di suatu acara yang cukup lama. Saya bukan pemerhati yang baik, tapi entah mengapa dia mulai menarik perhatian saya. Bukan, bukan ke masalah hati. The way he talks, the way he shared his ideas, the way he let me in to the discussion. I adore it! Saya terpukau... oleh kecerdasannya. Kok bisa ada orang se-pinter itu?

Day by day we talk too often. We discuss a lot of things. We become like "friends" instead of "professional workers" (but we still being professionals). Dia tau banyak hal yang kadang saya banyak ngga taunya. Tapi kok kita bisa nyambung gitu? Kadang saya juga heran.

Someday, he introduced her girlfriend to me. At that time, I just thinking like 'waw' she is  so smart and classy! That makes me believe that somehow your partner will be at the same level as you are.

(and now..... they already have a daughter btw)

Don't worry about ur future partner. Keep doing good things, improving yourself, being good to the others. Staying in a relationship "just because" you love her/his is not worth it. And like what the other said: respect, time, happiness, a best friend are what you need.
